Continuing on from Basic Pattern Cutting this next level is learning how to adapt you blocks into patterns by so that you can then make your own project.

Learn the skills needed to start to construct you own Boned Corset to your own measurements. Basic Pattern Cutting would be an advantage to make the most of this course. Samples of boning, seam construction and fastenings are taught to help you achieve your corset.

Continuing on from the introduction to Boned Corset you will be guided through the processes to complete your own made to measure Boned Corset.

Learn to make beautiful lingerie for yourself, cami-top, cami knickers or waist slip. Learn to cut and sew garments on the bias (true cross) and how to apply or insert lace and add plush elastic.

Learn basic blocking techniques for straw, felt and sinamay as well as a range of edge finishes for a Couture Hat. You can then design and make your own unique hat.

Classes designed for our next generation of budding Fashion Designers. They will be introduced to the use of Sewing Machines and hand sewing and taught skills needed to become confident sewers. There will be a range of projects taught by a qualified teacher CRB checked.

I can offer one –one tuition to those who wish to progress outside of a group situation or whose busy schedule doesn’t allow for the attendance to a timetabled class.
